73I Discovered a Fun Way to Make Money Online
Just to give you a little background...I joined Hubpages and wrote my very first article 2 years ago. Back then I was really just using hubpages to promote a business that I had at the time. I eventually closed that business and went to work full time. While I was working full-time I continued to write articles at hubpages because I enjoyed it. Then I started to read articles by other hubbers and saw that there was a huge opportunity to make extra money on the side from home. So I continued to write articles and product reviews. And I made some extra pocket change. I thought is was really neat getting paid to write articles. I knew that if I stuck with writing at Hubpages that over time I could really make some good income from home and eventually be able quit my full time job.
August 2010 I lost my Job
In August of 2010 I became a statistic and became unemployed. My company closed down and the entire staff got layed off. So after reality sunk in, I decided that while I'm looking for a job, I would take a hard look at Hubpages and the income potential that it had.
I knew that Hubpages wouldn't make me rich. And I knew that I would probably only bring in a few bucks a month, but my thinking was that any extra income from home would really help. I also knew that If I worked harder and buckled down I could get better results with my articles.
How to Earn Money Fast
In order to get better results and make money quick, In August I joined the 60 Day Challenge. This was a challenge with a group of 30 awesome people who each created a Hub a Day for 30 days. Then we promoted those hubs for 30 days and got terrific results. I'm not sure when the next 60 day challenge will be but if you visit the forums you will see that there is a 30 day challenge you can join.
But first you need to join Hubpages. Now is the time to take action!
Since doing the 60 Day Challenge, I have been getting amazing results and nice income working part time around looking for a full-time job. My income keeps going up each month.
I know 30 hubs in 30 days seem like a lot, but when you see below how my income has spiked you may decide to take action! Again this is NOT get rich quick. It's about taking action every day and doing the work.

Okay so I know that I will eventually get a job but in the mean time I plan on working my home based business part time around that job. Notice I said business. Here's the thing. If I want to be successful I know that I need to take action every day in order to get results. Hubpages is a make money site that requires commitment and work. Let me re-peat myself here. Success at Hubpages take effort and work!

My goal is to be earning $1000 by March 2011, $1500 by September 2011 and $2000 by December 2011.

Thanks for sharing Wendy! It is great to know how other hubbers are doing, and I love the upwards trend that you have shown us. I'm experiencing similar so it tends to suggest this is normal for hubbers who stick at it and continue to produce new, quality, hubs. I am also 'work from home' so need to make this work. This hub has given me (and I'm sure a lot of others) encouragement :)

@Hello,hello, During the second month we wrote blogs to promote our hubs and we submitted our hubs to backlink sites. We also Submitted our RSS's to RSS sites. And I also promoted on Facebook. It was a team effort. We blogged about each others hubs. It really helps when there is a team working together. If they do another one, you should do it. I'll help you. :)
Hi Wendy, I have got to know you from Amazon Associates Facebook Fan Page. From that, I learn from your Hubpages. I am not really serious into Hubpages because I got my first Amazon commission from free ad blog like Snipsly.com and then article directory like Ezinearticles.com. Before, I always skeptical about writing, now I might give Hubpages a second chance.

@Barus, Thanks for stopping over. I actually learned everything I know by reading hubs about SEO, keyword research and backlinking. There is tons of information withing the Hubpages site. Join Hubpages, then do a search and read as much as you can. Then start writing some hubs.
