Earning Money As An Amazon Affiliate Is Easy With Hubpages
69If I can make money with Amazon, Anybody Can!
And I mean that sincerely. You see, over the years I spent lots of time banging my head against the wall as I was trying to learn how to make money on the web. I even did Multi Level Marketing for a while. And I had some success. I also learned very quickly that there are lots of people out there willing to teach you how to make money but that want you to pay them for the information. And these Guru's teach about how you need to find a niche and have your own website. And of course, you need to have a domain name and then learn how to get traffic with SEO. This all just seemed way overwhelming to me and I really didn't have any money to invest. And it is a good idea if you have a website you should have a domain. But I didn't have a clue how to set up a website on my own and I didn't have to money to pay someone to do it for me.
So I decide to figure out Affiliate marketing on my own and read all the "free" information that I could find online. And through this reading up on affiliate marketing I read a article about making money by writing reviews. And I discovered that there were sites like Hubpages and Squidoo where a person could write an article or review about an Amazon product. Then if someone clicked the link to that product and purchased it, you could make commission. That sounded really neat. I was really excited.
Earning Money As Amazon Affiliate Takes Time But the Results are Worth it.
So I started writing at Hubpages. At first I didn't really make any money. But then, as I became a better writer and learned through trial and error what the best products were for my hubs, I started to see that I was getting clicks to my products and better yet earning some extra cash.
What I did was write reviews on products that I have used in the past and that I knew I would buy again. What happened was I found that the writing became easier since I was writing about my own experiences. And Then I started to see people began buying those same products that I was recommending. Now I usually sell at least one product a day as an Amazon Affiliate. Yesterday I sold 8 items.
update: My best Amazon Day was December 15th with 46 items sold as an Amazon Affiliate.
Now it didn't happen over night. And it takes work. But using free websites like Hubpages really is so much easier than making your own website from scratch and then trying to generate traffic. I mean Hubpages already gets great traffic and it's free so I think writing at Hubpages is a real no brainer.

Cashmere, you should absolutely add the capsule. Just pick a product that is relevant to your hub. I have had 67 sales so far this month and it is only the 12th. Thanks for the comment.
Wendy - do you earn more from capsules or direct links w/ your associate id? Just curious as I have read conflicting reports on this.
To answer your question ProDesign I would say over here at Hubpages I do best with capsules...Over at Squidoo, direct linking. I hope this helps.

The thing with Amazon, is that it just takes time and traffic. Just keep building hub reviews about specific products. Use key words that a shopper would type into google when doing a search. In time, you will start to see results...then it will begin to snow ball.

Out of curiousity, how long are your articles promoting Amazon niche products? I can't imagine they would be too long as crazed shoppers don't exactly strike me as the type who would want to read paragragh after paragraph.
Don, most of my articles are only between 150 to 200 words which goes against what most people say will get good results. But I find that the people who search for a product online already know that they want to buy. They don't need me to convince them. I'm just glad they purchased it through my hub.
Ok, that's what I thought, I'll keep that in mind. I have a few ideas how I can do what you suggested.

Hi Wendy, great hub you have here with a lot of useful information. I am currently having my best month ever with Amazon. I believe a lot of the sales are just the fact that is Christmas time but I have been watching my earnings increase over the last couple months, usually 10% or more than the previous month since I started using Amazon both within Hubs and on my websites.

It takes commitment and "sticking to it". I have no doubt if I provide quality hubs that the money will come. Go after the value and increase your knowledge base. It will happen but not overnight, like you said.
